Fossil Record Today

Evolution Science

Unfortunately for evolutionists, the fossil record of transitional intermediates remains much the same today as it did in Darwin’s time. There are a handful of claimed intermediates, all of which are, arguably, in dispute. A couple of the more famous:

Sahelanthropus: Hailed as a transitional form from ape to human. Brigitte Senut, Natural History Museum in Paris, said the skull possessed characteristics of a female gorilla, not an intermediate to human, and questioned if Sahelanthropus was in the human line at all. It’s very plausible that this is just an extinct ape.

Archaeopteryx: About the size of a crow and thought to be the “missing link” between reptiles and birds due to its claws, long drooping tail, and “reptile-like” teeth. If evolutionists have a single transitional form, this is it. However, this animal arguably appears to be an extinct bird, as its teeth and claws exist in other fully formed birds.
