We’ll start by considering what we mean by the idea of “God.” A very simple definition has been given to us by Saint Anselm: “God is the greatest conceivable being.” As Anselm observed, if we could think of anything greater than God, then that would be God instead!
What do you believe about God?
I believe in the God described in the Bible. I want to move onto the next section, “Credibility of the Bible.”
I don’t believe in God, or I’m not sure whether I do.
I believe in a God—a supreme being—but not the God of the Bible.
I believe in God as described in the Bible, but I want to review and understand the reasons for this belief.
