So far, in this argument for the existence of God, we’ve seen that a universal moral law does exist. We must now ask, from where does it come? Could this moral law have originated from physical matter?
According to contemporary evolutionists, our moral intuitions are the result of biological processes, such as natural selection. Therefore, they don’t prove the existence of a transcendent moral law giver. However, we’d like to make the case that the nature of our sense of right and wrong is such that it cannot be explained by evolution and biology.
