When we consider whether Jesus was a teacher, prophet, God, or just a good person, we should first investigate what Jesus said about himself. To do that, let’s take a look at the New Testament.
We discussed the New Testament in a previous section and learned that it’s a credible historical record of events, people, and places. No matter how you interpret the New Testament, it's still been shown that the message we have today is virtually identical to what was originally written within the lifetime of reliable eyewitnesses of Jesus.
