"'I and the Father are one.' Again his Jewish opponents picked up stones to stone him... 'We are not stoning you for any good work,' they replied, 'but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.'"
-John 10:30-31,33
Again, Jesus’s claims to be God were clearly understood by people who heard him speak. He never once corrected his wording or their understanding.
Another time, Jesus’s follower and friend Thomas worshiped Jesus as God, and Jesus allowed him to do so:
"Thomas said to Him, 'My Lord and my God!' Then Jesus told him, 'Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.'"
-John 20:28-29
