Imagine that we were created to live in perfect peace with God, other people, and nature. We knew perfection; we didn’t know evil, tragedy, or physical pain. Then death entered the world and everything changed. The right order of things was disrupted and harmony turned to disharmony.
Wouldn’t this explain our hatred of suffering, our sense that it’s wrong and unnatural, and our longing for a place where perfect peace will be restored? If all the human race has ever known is violence, death, and suffering, why do we have such a problem with suffering? Atheism can’t account for the indignation and outrage we feel in response to suffering. Christianity can.

It does seem that Christianity’s answer is more viable than that of Atheism. But why should I trust Jesus?
