We’ve come to an agreement that various religions do make specific truth claims and that these claims must be either true or false. Since claims are fundamental to religious belief, and because some conflict with each other, we can agree that not all religions are saying the same thing.
At this point, some people may ask, “Rather than point out differences in various religions, why can’t we just be more tolerant of other people’s perspectives?”
